Primary Supply Teachers - January Start in South East London

Are you an EYFS, Key Stage 1 (KS1) or Key Stage 2 (KS2) Qualified Primary School Teacher?

Are you an overseas trained Teacher or a Secondary School Teacher looking for a career change?

Have you begun your PGCE and looking for flexible work?

Would you like to work in a Primary school based in the Borough of Greenwich?

At Teaching Personnel, we are looking for warm, friendly, creative and passionate individuals to work in our schools in the local area. We have a number of schools in the local area who require teachers for sickness cover or to conduct PPA lessons.

Duties will include: teaching lesson plans which may already be planned out, marking assessment, watching over pupils at break, preparing for the next day of teaching.

Suitable candidate's requirements:

  • Applicants who have previous classroom experience with full QTS
  • Hold Relevant Bachelors Degree
  • Ideally have recent experience of teaching EYFS, KS1 or KS2, pupils.
  • Secondary Teachers are welcome to apply however will need good understanding of the current UK Primary curriculum
  • Lesson planning
  • Dealing with classroom and behavioural management
  • Holder of a DBS that is on the Update Service (or willing to apply for a new one)
  • Reliable and Flexible

What we can offer you:

  • Flexible working hours: full day, half days, day to day short term and long term contracts
  • We offer competitive supply pay rates - £120 - £150 (depending on experience)

  • Reduced traveling time, due to access to many schools in your area

We work in a variety of schools and can offer you work in small one form entry schools to larger schools with three form entry. I am confident that we will be able to place you in a role which best suits you.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
