Are you looking for a new flexible teaching role in secondary education?

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic cover supervisor to work across our key client schools in Wigan, Greater Manchester.

  • £77 - £85 per day, paid weekly through PAYE.
  • Flexible work to fit around personal and family commitments.
  • Available to start from September 2023
  • Day-to-day and long-term opportunities.

As a cover supervisor, you will utilise pre-planned learning resources to provide lesson cover to in the cases of staff absence and shortages. It is important that you have strong behaviour management skills to maintain a controlled and productive learning environment.  You will have the opportunity to work across all year groups in KS3 and KS4 and build on your classroom experience.

This role would be perfect for a teacher who would like to manage their own diary in a flexible position and without full planning and marking responsibilities.

What you will need:

  • Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
  • Good knowledge of effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent classroom management practice.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
