Teaching Personnel are currently working exclusively alongside a welcoming one-form entry Primary School in Blackpool FY1. The school are looking for a Specialist Teaching Assistant to support a young girl who is going into Y3 on a 1:1 basis full time from September 2018.
The young girl is high attaining in Maths however needs guidance with English as she often gets frustrated. The ideal candidate will have experience working alongside children with challenging behaviour and also able to differentiate for varying abilities.
This will be a full time role working 5.5 hours per day. Pay rates vary from £9 - £10 per hour depending on experience. The school are looking for a candidate who is Level 2 qualified or above and experience working within an Education based setting is essential. This role will initially begin on a supply basis however there is the view for this role to go permanent dependant on how well the child engages to the support.
Having spoken with the Headteacher and other members of SLT a number of times it is clear she is a committed Leader who only wants what is best for her school. Her staff speak highly of her and she is supportive of her staff team.
