Are you a passionate and dedicated science teacher looking for a new opportunity? Teaching Personnel are seeking an exceptional science teacher to join an Ofsted Good client school in Stockport, starting in January.

Throughout this role, you will be paid in line with your Teacher Pay Scale (£30,000 o £46,525 per annum).

Key Responsibilities:

- Delivering engaging and interactive science lessons to students across different year groups.

- Planning and preparing lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students, ensuring differentiation and inclusion.

- Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey.

- Creating a positive and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.

- Collaborating with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources.

- Participating in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school events.

Requirements:

- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent, with a degree in a relevant scientific discipline.

- Proven experience teaching science at the secondary level, with a strong track record of student achievement.

- Excellent subject knowledge across the sciences, including biology, chemistry, and physics.

- Ability to inspire and motivate students through creative teaching methods.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying up to date with the latest developments in science education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
