Job description

Teaching Personnel are working with a specialist SEND provision in County Durham (DL17) to recruit a Primary Teacher on a full time, temporary basis. The role will commence in January 2019, with strong potential for a permanent contract for the right candidate. The position will involve working with a small class of students across KS2 with varying SEND, including SEMH and ASC. The candidate will need to have good, broad curriculum knowledge, as well as being enthusiastic and a positive role model for the students! Qualifications such as Team Teach are desirable but not required, care work and other relevant experience is also considered.

The ideal candidate will have:

- At least six months teaching in an SEND environment

- Qualified Teacher Status

- Excellent behaviour management skills

- A patient and caring attitude
