Primary school teacher/ teaching assistant for Kempston

Job description

Teaching Personnel is seeking a qualified Primary Teachers/ Teaching assistants for Supply work in Kempston and the surrounding area. The ideal candidates will have at least two days each week where they are available to cover planned and unplanned absence in schools across the area, working with children up to Year 6. For Teachers/ Teaching assistants with regular or full availability there will also be the opportunity to fill long-term supply contracts if desired.


> Recognised Teaching Qualification, PGCE or equivalent QTS.

> Experience of teaching KS1 and KS2.

> Good classroom and behaviour management skills.

> Excellent organisational skills.

> Ability to create a safe and welcoming learning environment for children.

Additional Requirements.

> References will be requested during the registration process.

> Flexible schedule and ability to reach schools across the area.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
