Job description

We are currently looking for an outstanding Key Stage 1 Teacher to lead a year 2 class this January. The role will be temporary - permanent and is based in a 2 form entry Primary School in Thurrock. As part of a multi Academy trust, the school has a real sense of community and is dedicated to working together to smash through the barriers that prevent their children from becoming confident, high achieving and independent individuals.

The school are interested in applications from both fully qualified teachers and newly qualified teachers who are situated in Thurrock and the surrounding areas.

The school believe that it is essential for all children to acquire the basic social, literacy and numeracy skills to become confident and effective learners. As part of the team you will be able to utilise your previous experience and skills to make a big difference to these young student's lives. The school has had a recent Ofsted inspection in which they have been graded as good and have received comments such as 'The changes to the school in recent years have been very positive and they are continuing to improve year-on-year.'

You will initially be employed via Teaching Personnel and can expect to receive a pay rate between £120 & £150 per day. A period will be agreed directly with the school after which you will transfer over to their contract and become a permanent member of staff at the school.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
