Primary School in Haslingden require Year 4 Teacher - September start

A Primary School in Haslingden are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and driven Teacher to join their dedicated team in September. The position is to be the Year 4 Class Teacher and to boost attainment by planning and delivering high quality, engaging lessons which follow the National Curriculum. The children within the class are mixed ability and due to this the successful practitioner must be able to differentiate core subjects efficiently suiting the needs of all children.
The Head Teacher has noted she wants the selected candidate to bring fun and vibrancy into the classroom and to create an infectious energy to encourage the children to learn and grow. She has stated that the general behaviour of the school can be challenging and the upcoming Year 4 class are known to be a very diverse class with varying ability.
There is a high amount of Pupil Premium children, Looked After Children and pupils who require extra support for having Special Educational Needs. Strong Behaviour Management is crucial and the Head wants to appoint a Teacher who is spritely and dedicated to a career in Teaching.
The School is known for its large grounds and spacious classrooms. The Head encourages the utilisation of the intervention rooms which include a sensory room for children with SEN, a 3D interactive room and an allocated nurture room where the School SENCO is based and works on a 1:1 basis with children with varying SEN and SEMH needs.
