Primary School Teacher Post

We are looking to appoint a class teacher for KS2. Start date April 2018

A mainstream three form entry school that serves a multicultural and vibrant community in Newham is looking for a class teacher. We are looking to appoint candidates that are highly motivated, creative and passionate teachers. Our children are happy, resilient and hardworking. With the strong commitment of an excellent staff team children regularly achieve outcomes well above the national standard.

The Successful applicants should:

  • Be passionate about education, have high expectations for all pupils with a commitment to raising standards
  • Enjoy working as part of a team with a desire to contribute and make a difference
  • Have good curriculum knowledge and a secure understanding of how to assess and challenge pupils
  • Be a role model and active member of the school community
  • Be adaptable open to change and willing to support the school on its exciting new journey under its new Head Teacher

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
