Primary School Assistant

Job description

I am looking for an experienced Primary assistant to work on a daily supply basis. This is a great opportunity to build on or gain experience within a range of highly rated Primary Schools within the City of Bournemouth and Poole. You will have access to a wide variety of nursery settings with varying shifts and will be accountable for the wellbeing of small children between the ages of 6 months and 4 years.

You must be available between the hours of 8:30am to 3:30pm, be able to work a minimum of 4 days a week, have a passion for child care and enthusiastic.

To be eligible for this opportunity you will be:

  • Able to work with children of all abilities
  • Have up to date professional childcare related references covering the last two years
  • Flexible and able to work nursery hours
  • Have previous experience in the role of nursery assistant and early years
  • Have an up to date DBS on the update system or be willing to apply for one
  • Eligible to work in the UK

Minimum Requirements

  • - Previous experience working in a similar School setting, or evidence of strong Behaviour Management
  • - A passion and enthusiasm to see pupils achieve
  • - Dedication to the needs of all your pupils, working with other staff members to offer emotional and academic support

A Child Only DBS on the Update Service, or one done through Teaching Personnel
