A school in Hyde are currently searching for a science teacher specialising in physics, to join the department.

Key points -

  • Pay ranging from £28,000 - £43,685.
  • April start date.
  • Teaching a range of students from 11-16.
  • Training and support provided with the potential for a future career.
  • Specialising in physics and able to support the students through the correct syllabus.

The role will start April 2023, with the future potential to become a permanent teacher across years 7-11. The role will consist of teaching the appropriate syllabus to students’ dependant on the requirements.

The school pride themselves on their ethos and the progress of the students, maintaining a ‘good’ standard over the years from Ofsted. Therefore, the candidate will need to make sure they’re keeping up with these standards through their teaching and the students learning.

The school will be requiring a candidate that specialises in physics, meaning relevant experience or qualifications will be essential in this specific area. They will also want to keep up their students’ excellent performances through a high standard of teaching, after their students averaged above the local authority in every subject, with their grades.

Desirable criteria -

  • Up to date DBS certificate.
  • Relevant recent references.
  • QTS or PGCE in the Sciences.
  • Qualifications or a degree in the relevant field.
  • Experience teaching in a similar environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
