Teaching Personnel are glad to put forward this Year 3 Teaching Assistant role in Wythenshawe.

A primary school in Wythenshawe have partnered with Teaching Personnel to recruit an intervention Teaching Assistant in their Key Stage Two classes. Senior leadership of this school are seeking an immediate starter to join their passionate faculty.

The primary school need an experienced Teaching Assistant to provide group and one-to-one interventions. Responsibilities would include:

Therefore, the Teaching Assistant must be comfortable working closely with KS1 children and be familiar with the appropriate safeguarding measure this role involves. Experience with behavioural management would be beneficial, and HLTAs are encouraged to apply.

Requirements:

  • Teaching Assistant experience
  • Familiarity with the KS1 curriculum and phonic schemes
  • Recent Safeguarding training (this can be provided by Teaching Personnel)
  • Experience with behaviour and HLTAs preferred

About the role:

  • £70-85 per day through PAYE
  • No umbrella company or agency fees
  • Weekly pay on timesheets
  • Easily accessible by bus or tram
  • Full-time role
  • Monday-Friday
  • Opportunity to work with small groups of students and offer one-to-one support
  • Immediate start following registration with Teaching Personnel
