A client primary school in Openshaw, Manchester (M11) are seeking a full time interventions teacher to support across the school starting at the beginning of the new academic year. This two form entry primary school requires a Qualified Teacher to deliver intervention sessions to children who need additional support from Year 1 up to Year 6. This 'OUTSTANDING' Primary School prides itself on creating an environment filled with 'trust, good humour, acceptance and enjoyment' and is seeking a dedicated practitioner who will adhere to this ethos.
The ideal candidate will deliver intervention sessions to groups of children who need extra support. The successful candidate will work with children from Year 1 up to Year 6 and will deliver interventions in core subjects. This is a full time position, to which the selected candidate will be expected to divide their time accordingly to suit the needs of the children.
To be considered for this position you must:
- Have recent and relevant experience Teaching across KS1 & KS2
- Be a dedicated practitioner who is able to differentiate sessions to suit the needs of the children
- Be an organised individual who is able to monitor progress to push selected children to reaching their potential
