Location: Doncaster, DN4
Contract: Full Time, January – Mid June 2026
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Are you a confident and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking to make a real impact in a vibrant primary school? We are seeking a committed and skilled HLTA to join our friendly and supportive school community in Doncaster (DN4) for a full-time position running from January to mid-June 2026.

About the Role

As our Primary HLTA, you will:

• Lead whole-class learning in the absence of the class teacher

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2 (depending on experience)

• Provide targeted interventions and small-group support

• Work closely with teaching staff to raise pupil attainment

• Support with assessment, planning and classroom preparation

• Promote a positive, inclusive learning environment

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience

• Strong classroom management skills

• Experience leading whole-class teaching in a primary setting

• A positive, proactive approach and the ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff

• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
