Primary Behaviour Teaching Assistant

Job description

We are currently looking for a Full Time Teaching Assistant to work in small groups and in one to one sessions with KS1 & 2 students who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties.

The school is based in Bournemouth, which has recently been rated as 'Outstanding' by Ofsted, caters for students who have been removed from mainstream education who have received an Education, Health and Care Plan. All staff are well supported by a caring and passionate Senior Leadership Team.

We are looking for candidates who:

- Experienced working with students with SEMH

- Have a strong knowledge of the Primary Curriculum

- Have the ability to work one to one

- Are Team Teach trained (not essential)

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
