Primary Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant

Job description

We are currently seeking a primary teaching assistant to join a successful primary school in Northampton on a full time basis from September.

This is a specialist behaviour position to support pupils within the school's provision that have Autism and challenging behaviour.

Ideally you will hold a Team Teach qualification however this isn't essential as this training can be provided.

You will be working 1:1 and as well as providing small group support.

You will need to adapt your teaching style to suit a mixture of abilities and keep pupil's engagement.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
