Job description

Teaching Personnel work closely with a Preston based School which caters specifically for pupils with SEMH Difficulties, Autism, ADHD and pupils who display challenging behaviours. The School is smaller than average and currently has approximately 55 pupils on roll aged between 11 - 17 years old.

The School is based in Preston, Lancashire and is easily accessible via the M65/M6 and M61 and it has close links with public transport. The School are seeking a Support Assistant to start as soon as possible and they hope that candidate has their Team Teach candidate, but this is not essential.

The candidate suited to this role will have experience supporting children or adults who have additional needs, be willing to work with pupils who display challenging behaviours and be willing to work within a small staff team and support pupils on a 1:1 basis. The candidate MUST have a good knowledge and/or experience working with children with Autism and/or SEMH Difficulties and a Team Teach qualification would be ideal.
