Part time teaching position

PPA Cover for EYFS, KS1 and KS2

November 2020 start

A primary school in Oswadltwistle are looking for a PPA teacher to cover across the EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classes. We are looking for a primary practitioner who is happy to teach across all year groups with consistent behaviour management. You would be teaching foundation subjects including Art, Geography, History, PE and R.E. With the PPA role, you would receive the long-term planning prior to starting in September.

You would be covering a sheduled absence and the role would be to start on Monday 9th November until Friday 26th March 2021. The school is quite flexible with regards to the working hours and this can be discussed after the shortlisting process. They have said ideally, they are looking for someone to work 3 days a week however would consider offering the role on a full time basis for the right candidate.

Whilst you cover PPA in the classrooms there is a full-time teaching assistant who is familiar with the class and the daily routines. Being familiar with the EYFS Framework, Key Stage 1 and 2 National Curriculum is essential.  This teaching position offers candidates the scope to develop their career and gain further experience working across all year groups. The school are interested to meet with both NQTs and experienced teachers for this role.
