PPA cover teacher

Job description

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a Manchester school in the M22 area in order to identify a planning, preparation and assessment activities (PPA) cover teacher. The role will be 2 days a week, every Monday and Friday and will involve covering classes whilst their regular teachers have their PPA time.

The role can be filled by either newly qualified or fully qualified teachers. You will need to cover classes ranging over both Key stage 1 (KS1) and Key stage 2 (KS2) so experience with phonics is desirable.

Being a practising Catholic or holding a Catholic Certificate in Religious Studies (CCRS) would be of preference for the school.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
