  • Daily rate of £54.00-£65.00 for PMLD Learning Support Assistant

Person Specification

I am looking for a PMLD Learning Support Assistant who has at least received a 2:1 in your degree and already held a school-based position working with SEN learners. You will have the ability to prove your passion for teaching and show a caring respect for all of your pupils. The school wants to recruit a PMLD Learning Support Assistant who has a love of learning and teaching.

About the Role

At this well-run school, as a PMLD Learning Support Assistant you will be supporting the development a specific Year 7 boy who is on the Autistic Spectrum. As part of your development you will be provided with ample training opportunities to further enhance your understanding of SEN learning needs. The class will have no more than 7 pupils and you will be part of welcoming team. The School - PMLD Learning Support Assistant This established SEN school relies on the excellent support of the local community to provide a meaningful education to the children here. Pupils are aged between 5-19 years old who present with a range of severe, profound and multiple complex learning difficulties.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
