Teaching Personnel are looking for staff to work within an SEN school in the York area. This is a highly rewarding role to work alongside pupils with SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties) and PMLD Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties). This challenging role requires an experienced teaching assistant who enjoys interacting with pupils with a wide range of special educational needs but can provide tailored support to an individual. This is an ideal role for anyone who is trained in Moving and Handling or has experience with SEN and is flexible with working hours. Training can be provided for candidate with the correct attitude and demeanour. The ideal candidate should be passionate about working with children and should get that enthused from students achieving small targets. You will be required to support the student within lessons and assist the teacher with inclusion and classroom management.
