PMLD Learning Support Assistant, Bedale

  • Do you have experience working with young people with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)?
  • Do you have experience in Moving & Handling and Personal Care?
  • Do you have 6 months experience working within a school or SEN setting? If so, we have the perfect role for you.

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant experienced in supporting PMLD students for a SEN school in Bedale, North Yorkshire, commencing after the May Half Term with the possibility of a permanent contract from September.

Ideally applicants would have experience with PMLD in a Primary school setting. Moving & Handling qualification is essential for the role and additional qualifications such as Team Teach are desired however not mandatory. We would also welcome applicants with relevant transferrable skills such Care Assistants or Support Workers to apply for the role.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• 6 months experience supporting PMLD students in a SEN setting

• NCFE/CACHE Level 2 Supporting and Learning in Schools

• Moving & Handling Trained and Personal Care Experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
