Primary Teaching Assistant required in North Yorkshire

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with an OFSTED rated "Good" School in North Yorkshire who are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant with experience of working with young people with Autism (ASC) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).

Ideally, applicants would have experience of working with students with ASC and SLD in either an educational setting or similar. All applicants should posses the correct behaviours in order to support ASC and SLD students within the classroom. Additional training such as Moving and Handling and Team Teach is advantageous but not essential.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• At least 3 months experience working within an SEN setting

• CACHE/NCFE Level 2 Supporting and Learning in Schools or equivalent

• Experience working with challenging behaviours

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
