PMLD Teacher - September 2018 - Tameside

A small Secondary Special Needs (SEN) School situated in Tameside are currently seeking to appoint an SEN Teacher for a September 2018. This position is a full time and permanent position so would suit Teachers who are looking for an exciting new challenge. If you have a passion for supporting pupils with PMLD and feel that you have the necessary skills and expertise to succeed within a Special School, this could be the perfect role for you.

This particular Setting is based in Tameside and caters for Secondary aged pupils with a variety of needs including those with: PMLD, MLD, ASC and significant interaction or communication difficulties.

This role will involve planning and delivering lessons from P Scales up to National Curriculum so potential Teachers should have knowledge of both. Experience working within a Special School is preferable; however it is not essential as long as Teachers can demonstrate a passion for supporting pupils with SEN.

To be considered for the post you should have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • A clear passion for supporting pupils with SEN
  • The ability to display high levels of emotional and physical resilience

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
