PMLD Teacher required in Blackburn

Job description

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a specialist School who are seeking a teacher to join their existing team.

The school caters for young people aged 4-19 with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) including Autism, Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities and Speech, Language and Communication Needs. You will be committed to deliver Outstanding Teaching and to your own personal and professional development as a teacher. Previous experience of working with Special Educational Needs is desirable, but a desire to work in this sector and the drive to support students with additional needs to exceed expectations is paramount.

Applications are welcomed from Fully Qualified and Newly Qualified Teachers (FQT, NQT). The ideal candidate will have:

- A UK recognised teaching qualification

- A holistic and creative approach to teaching

- Experience working with learners with Special Educational Needs

- The commitment to deliver Outstanding lessons
