PMLD Specialist Secondary Teacher Required in Ashington

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a SEND Teacher experienced in supporting students with PMLD for a SEND school in Ashington. This role is to commence ASAP and will continue up until Summer, with the possibility of a permanent contract.
Ideally applicants would have experience teaching pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties in a SEND school setting. Additional qualifications such as Team Teach and Moving and Handling are desired but not mandatory. We would also welcome applications from Newly Qualified Teachers or Teachers with mainstream Secondary experience.
Our ideal candidate will have:
-6 months experience teaching PMLD pupils in a SEND setting
-Up to date Team Teach and a good understanding of SEND
-Adaptable across subjects and a good KS3 and KS4 curriculum knowledge
-Qualified Teacher status with a good understanding of differentiation and behaviour management
-Patient and nurturing mannerism
