Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently partnered with a large secondary school that are currently seeking to appoint a qualified Science teacher to join them from Easter that has relevant experience teaching Science up to KS5. This Science teacher role is available as a result of an opening within the Science department; as the current teacher is due to leave this long term position to move onto a maternity cover closer to home.

The successful Science teacher shall have QTS and have the relevant experience of teaching Science within a secondary school environment. The school is a 'Good' school as graded in its latest Ofsted inspection and would be a great opportunity for a Science teacher looking to gain an introduction to such a school. Applications are also welcomed from more experienced teachers.

  • Science (Physics) teacher, full time from Easter
  • Supportive secondary school with a most recent Good Ofsted report
  • Located in Sheffield just 15 minutes from the city centre with excellent transport links
  • Initial supply position with opportunity to secure school contract
  • Pay rate to match experience - up to £165 per day
