A Manchester secondary school is looking to appoint a Physics teacher with a proven track record of pupil progress to join their thriving Science department in January 2020. This vacancy is open to both NQTs and experienced teacher.

The role includes teaching general Science to Y7 and Y8, and teaching Physics from Y9 upwards. You will be responsible for ensuring pupil engagement and understanding through regular review and improvement of departmental resources, and ensuring appropriate differentiation to meet pupil needs. The ideal candidate would also possess impeccable communication and organisation skills.

The school is rated Good by Ofsted and boasts state-of-the-art teaching aids, laboratories and sports facilities to assist its endeavour to provide each and every pupil with a fully developed school experience. The school also invests heavily in the pastoral side of each pupil’s school career, ensuring every student is well-equipped when they leave school with the tools necessary to succeed in wider society.
