SCIENCE TEACHER - PHYSICS

A vibrant comprehensive secondary school in the Maisdstone area are looking to hire a new science teacher. This role commences in September 2021 for the start of the next academic year (06/09/2021) and will require applicants to teach Science to Key Stage 5, specifically Physics.

The school are looking for a passionate and driven individual who will encourage students and create an engaging atmosphere to aid students’ educational attainment. Candidates will be taking on full departmental responsibilities, including, planning and delivering lessons as well as marking.

Teaching Personnel have an outstanding reputation for training and developing colleagues. Therefore, applications are welcome from NQTs as well as experienced teachers. 

Requirements for the role:

  • Hold QTS/NQT status in the UK or have equivalent qualifications.
  • Have experience teaching Science up to Key Stage 5 (not essential)
  • Have experience teaching/covering Biology, Chemistry or Physics.
  • The right to work within the UK.
  • The ability to provide two references from your most recent employers.
  • Have or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
  • Residing in the UK or have a UK address you are moving to in the near future to comply with the DBS requirements.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
