Physics Teacher – Ofsted Good School

This ‘Good’ school, located in Surrey, is looking for a Physics teacher to deliver the curriculum from Key Stage 3 up to A Level. You will be a successful manager of student behaviour and will be able to continue to reflect on your practice to ensure that the students continue to be challenged and find learning inclusive and relevant.
If interested in this role you must have the following:
-Qualified teacher status (QTS) or overseas trained.
-PGCE in Physics or degree level equivalent
-Experience teaching KS3, 4 and 5.
-Experience in a secondary school within the last two years
-Experience managing student behaviour
-Excellent subject knowledge and passion for the Sciences
-Enhanced DBS Disclosure or Overseas Police Clearances
NQT will be able to access a well established training program and experienced mentors. CPD is also provided to all staff.
The school is rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and has GCSE results around 40%. Just under half of the school is identified as EAL and students come from varied socio-economic backgrounds.
