Teaching Personnel has a role which would be perfect for you!
A school in the Clitheroe area has approached Teaching Personnel to aid them with the recruitment of a Teacher of Science with a specialism in Physics. The school is in need due to one of their existing teachers being promoted and therefore there is an opening for a new Teacher of Science. The school is looking for someone to start as soon as possible to support the department through this transition.
In the schools most recent Ofsted inspection the school was found to be “Good”. Since this the school have been working hard continue with their high standards and continue to make improvements towards claiming an “Outstanding” judgement at their next inspection. There are support systems in place for any new staff joining the school. The school would need someone dedicated to planning engaging lessons with a focus on progress.
A successful candidate would have excellent knowledge of the KS3/KS4 Physics curriculum. They should be able to plan and deliver effective intervention to GCSE pupils which have been identified for needing additional support.
