Teacher of Physics needed for January start in OUTSTANDING school

We have a fantastic opportunity for one of our candidates to work in an Outstanding School delivering Physics full time from January 2017. The successful candidate will be a Fully Qualified Teacher of Science, experienced delivering Physics at KS3, KS4 & A Level.

About the Department

Science is a successful and forward-looking curriculum area which was complimented in the last OFSTED report. The staff are dedicated professionals, committed to raising standards and improving still further the quality of teaching and learning. All the Sciences are taught by specialists: four chemists, four biologists and four physicists.

The School

a mixed selective School with a large Sixth Form offering academic A-Levels. The School is rated 'outstanding' by Ofsted and became an Academy on 1 January 2012. In the last decade the School has expanded rapidly and there are now over 1300 students on roll including 300 in the Sixth Form. This growth in student numbers has been matched by the development of the site: recent years have seen the opening of a number of impressive, well-appointed buildings.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
