The governors at an inner city Salford Secondary school are looking to appoint a highly motivated Physics Teacher to join their school community from September 2019 or earlier.

  • Must hold QTS alongside relevant degree level qualifications within Physics.

  • Pay in line with MPS/ups £23, 720 - £39, 406.

The incoming Physics Teacher will be an inspiration with extensive experience delivering General Science with a specialism in Physics across Key Stages 3 & 4. You will be an enthusiastic practitioner, innovative and ambitious in advancing your career.

The responsibilities for the incoming Physics Teacher will include;

  • Expected to lead a full time table delivering inventive Physics lessons; planning, preparing and evaluating all class work.
  • Effectively teach the National curriculum within the school's Teaching and Learning Policy.
  • Develop schemes of work, resources, teaching and learning strategies, contributing to the monitoring and evaluation of all pupils.
  • Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

Located at heart of Salford, this well respected Secondary school has just over 700 pupils on roll, aged 11-16 and is ideally situated to be accessed via the A580 (East Lancashire Road); Bolton, Bury, Trafford. There are also various public transport options available with links across Greater Manchester.
