Are you a Physics graduate looking to gain experience prior to starting your PGCE? Would you like to join a secondary school that have a teacher training programme?

If so, our client secondary school located in North Manchester is currently seeking a Physics graduate to join their Science department on a full time basis. This position will start from September until the end of the academic year.

The incoming physics graduate will be based in the Science department to assist across all areas in order to gain a deep understanding of the expectations of being a teacher. The Physics graduate will be responsible for providing intervention sessions to students who have not yet met their minimum levels of attainment to assist with closing the gap, cover pre-planned lessons in the absence of the teacher and provide 1:1 support to identified students.

The school is based in North Manchester on the outskirts of the city centre and is easily accessible via the M60 motorway as well as public transport links. This is a larger than average mixed 11-16 academy with over 1200 students on roll, with the school catering for the diverse local community.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
