Physical Education Teacher

Teaching Personnel, the market leader of education recruitment in the UK, are working in partnership with an 'Outstanding' Secondary school in Warrington. They are looking to appoint an experienced Physical Education teacher in September, for the new academic year.

  • Full time Physical Education Teacher required from September 2019
  • Permanent gap in the department
  • Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' secondary school
  • Above average 0.43, progress 8 score
  • Teaching Physical Education up to GCSE level
  • Teaching Practical and theory Physical Education
  • Pay in line with MPS and UPS (£23,720-£39,406)

The high achieving Secondary school is located on the outskirts of Warrington, just off the M56, making it easy to access from central Manchester and for P.E. Teachers who don't drive, there is a public transport link close by.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • evidence of good quality teaching and subject knowledge
  • an understanding of how to use assessment to inform planning for excellent teaching and learning
  • the ability to teach theory and practical P.E.
  • evidence of good behaviour management skills
  • a willingness to contribute to enrichment activities
  • will be confident and outgoing to inspire and engage with every student
