Full-time Physical Education Graduate required for a 'Good' graded Roman Catholic Secondary school based in Wigan.

The school who have approached Teaching Personnel to recruit for this role require a Physical Education Graduate on a full-time basis in order to provide general support within the classroom.

This opportunity is available for Physical Education Graduates who wish to gain further experience working alongside pupils aged 11-16 and will be the perfect preparation for future teaching roles.

During your time at school you will take on a number of responsibilities which will be essential in order to help the schools Physical Education department operate effectively;

Responsibilities will include;

• Covering lessons within the schools Physical Education department
• Providing general classroom support and working closely with the class teacher
• Supporting students through there coursework and providing 1:1 tuition
• You will have the opportunity to deliver pre-planned lessons in a range of subjects, with support from senior members of staff in school

Our client school is of Catholic faith and is located in Wigan. The school currently has around 1000 pupils on roll which is larger than the average school in the area, and was graded 'Good' in their most recent Ofsted report. The school is located on the in the Standish area of Wigan and has excellent public transport links to Wigan town centre.
