PHSE Teacher - Rotherham

Teaching Personnel are seeking to appoint an exceptional individual who will teach and coordinate PHSE including supporting a small team of non-specialists.

While this is a full time role, job share or part-time applications are welcomed. Ideally this is for an Easter start.

The successful candidate will be an outstanding practitioner and fully committed to high standards and expectations. Teaching Personnel welcomes teachers with a creative approach who are keen to contribute to exciting curriculum developments.

Our client is a popular 11 to 18 school with 900 students (100+ in the Sixth Form). Relationships at all levels are excellent and we are committed to the professional development of all our staff.

The Role

The post-holder will be required to demonstrate a continual positive commitment to the school's policies including those relating to safeguarding children, health & safety, and equal opportunities.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

- Overview of planning and curriculum for KS3 - 5 for PHSE

- To lead a small team of staff delivering PHSE in the taught curriculum

- To encourage and promote outstanding practise throughout the whole school to both pupils and colleagues

- To lead a vertical form group of Y7 - Y13 pupils
