Lower KS1 Year 1 Teacher, ( FQT ) & ( NQT ) are welcome to apply, Worsley, Salford, M27

  • Salary – (£22,023 – £37,496) depending on experience

Due to an extended leave of absence, Teaching Personnel are working with a “good” Primary School Worsley, Salford, M27 to look for a Year 1, Key Stage 1 teacher to join their infant department as soon as possible. The position of year 1 teacher will be starting as soon as possible with a view to continuing for the rest of the academic year.

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a recently graded “Good” school under the new OFSTED framework. This flagship one and a half form entry school within the Salford area offer great facilities and a support network within their Key Stage 1 department. With a focus on phonics, speaking and listening, the school’s facilities are second to none to allow for a high standard of teaching and learning. The school recent results have been superb and in the top bracket in Salford.

As a Year 1 teacher, experience of working with various phonics schemes, leading small groups and planning for Teaching Assistants would be important. In addition, a passion for working with mixed ability, high levels of SEN and EAL children would serve you well. In return, the school would offer either a newly qualified teacher or fully qualified teacher all the support and CPD possible.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
