A 'GOOD' school in Shaftesbury are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their energetic KS1 team. This role will be FULL TIME and is to start ASAP. The successful candidate will work alongside the Year 1 class teacher as a general teaching assistant and will also be required to deliver phonics intervention sessions to children across KS1. The successful candidate will be working with children who need extra support to help raise attainment in reading, writing and spelling. The school is looking for an enthusiastic teaching assistant who has a passion for raising attainment and assisting children's learning across all areas.

To be considered for this Teaching Assistant role, you will:

  • Have extensive phonics knowledge
  • Be confident delivering intervention sessions to children across KS1 & KS2
  • Be an enthusiastic practitioner and positive role model to children across the school
