Phonics Intervention Teacher needed after Easter

Job description

A Primary School in Darwen have reached out to Teaching Personnel in order to source an experienced and confident Teaching Assistant to deliver in depth and high quality Phonics interventions to the Year 2 Pupils who are struggling to raise attainment.

The Head Teacher has stated she wants a vibrant and passionate Teaching Assistant with a Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent. The successful practitioner would need to have had the relevant phonics training and who is aware of the most popular phonics scheme's which are currently being used.

The Primary School itself is graded 'Good' by Ofsted and the Head Teacher has stated she is keen to support the successful candidate and is prepared to place them on professional development courses in order to upskill their current knowledge during their time at the school.

The salary is based on a 6.5 hour day position held Monday to Friday, and depending on experience, this could vary between £90-120 per day. Additional salary may increase depending on the interest of welfare.
