Overview:

Teaching Personnel are looking for a Cover Supervisors to start with our partnered English and Welsh Medium Secondary Schools in the Cardiff Region. This would be a great opportunity for those on a PGCE, gaining valuable classroom experience whilst studying to become a teacher.

The successful applicant will possess excellent communication skills, adaptability, and a genuine love for working with young learners, if this is you, then we want to hear from you!

What is required:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons to students across various subjects and age groups.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and maintain discipline in accordance with school policies.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure continuity and consistency in educational delivery.
  • Effective time management and communication skills
  • Utilise new and effective teaching methods.
  • Be a professional role model, while managing students’ behaviours and focus within the lesson to create a positive learning environment.

To be a Cover Supervisor I am looking for:

  • A recent University Graduate or PGCE
  • A youth worker or coach who again has experience of working with children.
  • A teaching Assistant looking to grow through to the next step up.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
