The Performing Arts department in  'Good'  Portsmouth based secondary school are in search for a Teacher to join them in the new academic year.

The department teaches pupils the skills they need to creat, perform and analyse and eveluate themselves, others and their environemnt within the Arts. The dpeartment also seek to give pupils an excellent insight into the industry and develop key skilss to help them achieve their goals past education. Alongside this, their pupils develop excellent personal growth and transferrable skills through this subject to allow them to become well rounded pupils and individuals.

Students at KS3 study a broad range of Arts including Acting, Musical Theatre and Dance so they can enjoy a variety of genres and performance styles to find their nieche. Students are given performance logs to monitor progress, verbal feedback and assessed via video recordings. Students at KS4 can study BTEC Performing Arts.

The department has an excellent rupatation for putting together school concerts, performances and shows both inside and outsdie of the academy. Pupils become involved with other schools locally and nationally depending upon the level of competition or level of performance invited to showcase.

The school are willing to consider full time and part time teachers in order to find the right fit for them. They are holdiong online interviews through school closures in order to find the teacher best suited to their school.
