PE Teaching Assistant required immediately on a full-time basis for a client secondary school in Orrell.

If you have experience working within a secondary school setting as a Teaching Assistant or have experience coaching students that are aged between 11 awarm-upnd 16 then this will be an ideal opportunity for you to work within a secondary school on a full-time basis in the New Year.

The school require a dedicated member of staff who will be able to support the schools Physical Education department, setting up the lessons for the class teacher and leading sessions at the start of the lesson. There will also be times where you will be required to alleviate pressures in other departments within the school, working as a Teaching Assistant in the classroom or providing lesson cover when needed.

The school wish to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate individual with a background of sports and fitness. It is crucial that you are able to work well with student's aged 11-16 and be confident when leading groups of students, whether that be within the schools PE department or within the classroom.

Located on the outskirts of Wigan town centre this school is easily accessible from the surrounding areas of Ashton-in-Makerfield, Golborne and Tyldesley via the M6 motorway. There are also direct transport links from Wigan town centre. The school is larger than the average secondary school in the area and currently caters for over 1000 pupils.
