PE Teaching Assistant - Cheadle

Do you have a Sporting background and are looking to work in secondary schools?

A secondary school in Cheadle are seeking a PE Teaching Assistant to join there teaching team. This is for a full time, on going PE Teaching Assistant position, starting immediately when the right teacher is found. The successful PE Teaching Assistant will be able to support the teacher in practical PE lessons, as well as supervising and teaching smaller groups within the lesson. Sport coaching experience would be ideal but is not essential.

  • Pay rate from £250 - £300 per week depending on experience

The secondary school is located in the leafy Manchester suburb of Cheadle. This school is set in pleasant ground, creating a peaceful learning environment for pupils. This presents a good opportunity in terms of outdoor sports available to pupils, as well as facilities which can be used in lesson as well as in extra curricular activity.

  • Sports coaching experience preferred but not essential

The successful teacher will be able to deliver engaging lessons to smaller groups of pupils, as well as displaying good behavioural management skills.
