PE Teacher Required - SW London - February half term start!

Teaching Personnel are recruiting a qualified PE Teacher to join a good school based in Wimbledon.

Receiving 'good' in their most recent Ofsted, it was stated that 'School leaders and the governing body are ambitious for the school and its pupils. They have created a culture of high aspirations and designed a learning environment to support this. The promotion of pupils social, moral, spiritual and cultural development is a strength. This school looks to recruit teachers who understand their ethos and want to be part of that. They work in a harmonious atmosphere with students who get on well together and respect each other, no matter what their cultural background may be. Staff work hard to provide a safe learning environment for its pupils and are continually encouraging them to develop their skills and knowledge through extensive extra-curricular activities, including choir, orchestra, shows and sporting activities.

They are currently looking for a qualified PE Teacher who is experienced in teaching:

• PE to KS4
• Any experience teaching BTEC Health and Social Care to KS4 and KS5

You will be joining a large team with a mixture of experienced and newly qualified teachers. The department is well-resourced and the team work very closely together, providing wide variety of sporting opportunities to its students. You will be supported by an outstanding Senior Leadership team who are looking for teachers who share the same determination when it comes to moving the school forward.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or overseas trained
• PGCE in PE

This full time role is to start immediately / February half term. They are looking for a PE Teacher who is able to commit for the remainder of the Academic year. Interviews to take place immediately.
