PE Teacher required in Preston from Easter 2018

Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and passionate Teacher of Physical Education for a secondary school in Preston, Lancashire. This is a full-time position starting from Monday 9th Easter 2018 on a full-time basis teaching PE across Key Stages 3/4 up to GCSE level. You will be expected to teach both theory and practical PE lessons.

The role is being advertised to cover a maternity leave within the PE department and the successful PE Teacher will be required until February 2019, at least.

This is an averaged sized secondary school with around 900 students on roll. Behaviour of the students can be challenging therefore the school are seeking a PE Teacher with good behaviour management skills.

The school is easily accessible via public transport links and it has excellent on site parking facilities. To be eligible to apply for this role you MUST have:

- Valid UK PGCE with QTS

- PE Degree

- Recent experience of teaching KS3/4 PE

- The ability to plan and deliver high quality PE lessons

- Good behaviour management skills

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
