Job description

Due to a change in the department, our client school are looking for a qualified PE teacher to join them from Easter, teaching PE across Key Stage 3 and 4 for the duration of this academic year, and potentially beyond.

  • PE teaching timetable consisting of 0.8 PE lessons

Our client school is a large, well facilitated secondary school situated on the border of Manchester boasting excellent transport links via tram, and a good locality to the neighbouring M60 motorway. The school currently has over 1500 students enrol from the local community and is the school of choice for students and parents. In their most recent Ofsted inspection, the school's leadership and management was judged to be Good with the effective action plan recently implemented, paying dividends in both attainment and progress across the school.

This position at our client school as a PE teacher will involve delivering Physical Education to students aged 11 - 16, as well as working with students in their upcoming GCSE examinations. As this timetable is 0.8, there would be elements of team teaching alongside other school staff and supporting the behaviour and pastoral teams.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
