Teaching Personnel are working in collaboration with a Salford Secondary school to recruit an experienced female Physical Education (PE) teacher on a full time basis from Easter 2019 until the end of the academic year.

Due to an internal restructure within the PE department this exciting opportunity has risen to work within an Ofsted graded 'Good' Secondary. For further information please see the details below;

  • Full time female PE teacher required for a Salford Secondary school.
  • Full time basis from April 2019 until the end of the academic year - full responsibilities included.
  • Must hold QTS alongside subject specific degree level qualification within Physical Education.
  • Opportunity to work in an Ofsted graded 'Good' Secondary school.
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS £23, 720 - £39, 406.

Located in the Worsley region of Salford the school has seen significant positive improvements under new strategies and policies recently moved into a modern building with access to state of the art facilities.

The incoming PE Teacher will be required to;

  • Assist in the development of programmes within the PE department alongside through the planning, preparing and marking of the Curriculum.
  • Deliver dynamic PE lessons sessions to pupils across the school at Key Stage 3 & 4.
  • Positively manage behaviour amongst all pupils in accordance to school behaviour policies.
  • Promote the school's vision, aims, objectives and values.

Salford easily accessible via the M66/A580 (East Lancashire Road) and the surrounding areas; Bury, Bolton and Wigan. Public Transport options are also readily available for those who do not drive with links across Greater Manchester.
