Full time Physical Education (PE) teacher required for a Salford Secondary school from January 2019 fixed term for a minimum of 12 months.

Due to an upcoming gap within the PE department as a member of staff is set to take maternity leave in the New Year, this well respected Secondary school is seeking to appoint a dynamic PE teacher to join there department.

  • Full time PE Teacher required from January 20019, Salford Secondary school.
  • Must hold QTS alongside relevant degree level qualifications in Physical Education/Sports.
  • Applications are welcomed from experienced and newly qualified teachers as full support will be provided.
  • Opportunity to work in an Ofsted graded 'Good' Secondary school.
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS £23, 720 - £39, 606.

The incoming PE Teacher will be required to;

  • Assist in the development of programmes within the PE department alongside through the planning, preparing and marking of the Curriculum.
  • Deliver dynamic PE lessons sessions to pupils across the school at Key Stage 3 & 4.
  • Positively manage behaviour amongst all pupils in accordance to school behaviour policies.
  • Promote the school's vision, aims, objectives and values.

Salford easily accessible via the M66/A580 (East Lancashire Road) and the surrounding areas; Bury, Bolton and Wigan. Public Transport options are also readily available for those who do not drive with links across Greater Manchester.
