A Stockport based Ofsted ‘Good’ school are seeking a Science Lab Technician to provide excellent and enthusiastic support to their Science department.

During your time in this role you will be expected to maintain equipment, set up and monitor experiments, support Science teachers, inspire them to engage with learning. It is beneficial if you have; a background in lab technician work, a Scientific degree or have prior work with KS3/KS4 students.
Serving the surrounding areas of Cheadle and Bramhall transport links include multiple bus stops just 3 minutes away with a train station only 4 minutes away.
Responsibilities include ensuring scientific equipment is prepared and safely stored and set up, supporting science teachers, maintaining equipment and ensuring all risk assessments are carried out correctly.
This position is sure to provide you with great experience in a school based setting whether you are contemplating a career in education, looking to inspire the next generation of scientists or just looking to develop your skillset.
Pay for this role scales from £350-£400 a week, this is experience dependant and provides a great chance to enhance your career and experience in a school-based setting.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
